Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan is a multi campus, Sanskrit Deemed University under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It is the only multi campus Sanskrit University which is propagating various branches of Sanskrit learning through the medium of Sanskrit language along with the modern subjects such as Computer Science, English, etc. Guruvayoor Campus is one of the ten campuses functioning at different parts of India.  

Courses Offered

At present the campus at Puranattukara offers the courses of Prak Sastri (Intermediate), Sastri(B.A), Siksha Sastri (B.Ed), Acharya(M.A) in the disciplines of Vedanta, Sahitya, Vyakarana and Nyaya.The Doctoral research Vidya Varidhi(Ph.D.) is also offered.

The campus offers modern subjects such as History, English, Malayalam, Computer Science and Environmental Studies for equipping the students with multi-faceted talent. Short term certificate courses in Bharatiya Jyothisha is also being conducted in the main center of the Campus.

Library

Library is the nerve centre of the organization and plays an important role in social & educational growth of the institution. It also plays a vital role by providing a platform in education at all levels. The Library of this Campus comprises of nearly 29000 books pertaining to numerous branches of learning in different languages thereby catering to the needs of the students and staff members. Besides there is a collection of 164 manuscripts. A spacious reading room is available with important newspapers, magazines and periodicals. read more

Educational Technology Laboratory

Educational Technology Laboratory is also well equipped with Educational, Technological equipments to have educational innovative practices. The Lab trains pupil teachers in using modern technology for studying and teaching Sanskrit and other subjects via OHP, Computer P.P.T presentation, Slide projections etc.. The lab possesses all modern electronic Media .
